How the political maps of Israel and Palestine have changed

Project lead and data visualization for an online article on the Israel-Palestine Conflict

With roots stretching back more than 100 years, the Israeli-Palestinian conflict has proved to be one of the world's most intractable. This article explains the conflict through political maps. As historical facts, even seemingly small details, are routinely disputed by both sides each map is shown twice: once from a Palestinian, once from an Israeli view point. Data visualisations show the toll that the conflict has taken and quotes from leaders and politicians are used to emphasize how views on the conflict have hardened over time.
